There is no better way to see the west coast of Vancouver Island than by ATV. Trails heading out from Tofino and Ucluelet offer adventure and mind-blowing scenery overlooking the rugged west coast landscape that includes vast ocean views. From Ucluelet, the journey to Mount Ozzard offers up established trails and views of Barkley Sound, the Broken Islands and Tofino all the way to Clayoquot Sound.

East of Ucluelet is the shoreline of Barkely Sound, where an ATV adventure is an unbeatable wildlife experience typified by bears fishing, eagles hunting and waterfowl gathering, as well as some of the Island’s oldest cedar trees.

The gravel road to Tofino Inlet takes riders to Clayoquot Sound, a breathtaking, rugged trip to shoreliness and mudflats. Head from the coast up into the mountains to rock formations, windswept trees and wilderness as far as the eye can see.

For maps and information, visit the Pacific Rim Visitor Centre at the Ucluelet-Tofino junction at the end of Highway 4 or call 250-726-4600.
